Linda Giardini Drzycimski – Obituary

LINDALinda Giardini Drzycimski, 55, passed away on Sunday, September 7. She was born in Huntsville on April 27, 1959 to William and Betty Giardini. Linda lived most of her life in the Huntsville area, spending her last 20 years in Lacey’s Spring, AL.

Linda enjoyed her work as an antique dealer and a trail boss for the Buffalo River Trail Ride. She was active in animal rescue, women’s health issues and helping people in need. Her family and friends were very important and she touched many hearts throughout her lifetime. She was a wonderful, vibrant, smart woman who loved her family, friends and her animals. Even through her battle with cancer, she keep living life to its fullest and was able to scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef, visit the Galapagos Islands, make a trip to Italy to see the family homeland, and much, much more.

Linda is survived by her husband of almost 25 years, Stephen Lee Drzycimski; parents, William and Betty Giardini; sisters, Lisa Cooper (Jeff) and Laura Richerson (Mark); and many Giardini, Tidwell, and Drzycimski in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Also, she leaves behind her two horses, Trixie and Bonnet; two dogs, Ruby and Girl; and Barn Cat.

A celebration of life for Linda’s family and friends will be held at the Monte Sano Lodge on Monday, September 15 at 3:00.
