Mrs. Linda Gay Norris, age 56, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, 2 p.m., at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Wallace officiating. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Norris was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Birmingham, Ala. Survivors include her husband, Kendall Norris, of Millbrook, Ala.; son, Samuel McDonnell (Lori), of Panama City, Fla.; mother, Jean Sharp, of Florence, Ala.; two sisters, Betty Sharp, of Florence, Ala. and Nancy Smith, of Florence, Ala.; brother, Billy Sharp, of Florence, Ala.; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on the day of the service at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m.
