Linda Gale Watson, age 74 of Burnwell, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 12:40am peacefully surrounded by her family. Her faith was strong and she loved the Lord.

The funeral service will be held at Bible Church of God Saturday, October 12,2024 at 1:00 PM. The visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Ray Jackson will officiate, and the burial will follow at Brasfield Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her grandson that meant the world to her that she adopted, and raised as her own son; Caleb Fields Franklin (Bubba), her parents Audie Mae and Earnest Freeman, her husband; Benny O’Neil Watson, sisters; Jearldean (Dean), Frances, Patricia (Pat), and Ernestine (Ernie), her brothers; Milton and Marlon (Pete).

She is survived by her children; her daughters; Lorrie Lynn (Shane), Rachel Diane, and Emily Elizabeth,  her son; Christopher (Shannon), her grandchildren; Maegan Nicole (Matthew), Rachelle Diane (Roy), Bobby Mikelle, Courtney Elizabeth, Zara Nicole (Brenton), Brianna Marlene, her great grandchildren; Maebre Nicole, and Madison Leigh, her brother; Marvin Freeman, her twin sister; Brenda Eliott, and sister in laws; Peggy Freeman, Christie (James) Reed, and Mary L. Capps.

She loved her kids and grandkids more than anything. Life with momma/mawmaw was always adventurous never knew what she was going to say or do. She definitely was going to make you laugh.

She was a retired cosmetologist. She loved her work, and always took great pride in it.
