Linda Gail Peters Bailey was welcomed into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 12, 2022. Linda was 62 years old at the time of her passing. Ms. Bailey was born in Marshall County, Alabama, on June 10, 1960, to Marston and Billie Traylor Peters.

Linda was a lady of many talents. She was an incredible cook and loved to tell of her culinary training. She was pursuing a lifetime goal, and was completing, Bible College studies when she passed away. Linda also drove a truck for eight years before retiring. She and Joe attended New Life Church, in Arab, and she enjoyed worshipping with her friends and neighbors. Linda loved getting her hair done and her granddaughters are honoring her by styling her hair for her one last time. She loved being a Memaw, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy. Ms. Bailey leaves behind many loving family members and friends, all of whom will miss her greatly.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph A. and Mary F. Bailey; and a son, Joseph E. Bailey, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Bailey; sons, Tony and Katie Lee, Cody Lee, Matthew and Natasha Bailey; daughters, Stacy and Bo Stover, Tracy Lee, April Garrison, Janet Bailey; brother, Willis Peters; sister, Faye Peters; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Sammy, Sarah, Kaleb, Samantha, Dakota, Nichole, Preston, Toni-Marie, Gracie, Victoria, Christian, Little D; her little dog, Brownie; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services for Linda will be 2 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2022, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastors Gary McClellon, Stephen Gaddis, and Derek Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow services in Daniels Chapel cemetery where Tyler Ball, Bo Stover, Carl Ramey, Chase Collins, Matthew Bailey, Dakota Stover, and Preston Garner will serve as pallbearers. Eddy Pannell, Robert Mendoza, and Austin Dibble will serve as honorary pallbearers. Friends are invited to visit with the Bailey family on Thursday evening, June 16, 2022, at the funeral home, from 6 p.m., until 8 p.m.
