Linda Gail McGaughy, 77, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at her residence. Linda enjoyed sewing and quilting, as well as flowers and working in her yard. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, John McGaughy; a son, Murphy Tigner; and two brothers, Ray Maxwell and Charles Maxwell, all of Iuka; two sisters, Bonnie Wallace of Corinth, and Barbara Maxwell of Lawrenceburg, TN; two grandchildren, Murphy Lee Tigner and Tristan Lee Tigner; and one great-grandchild, Tessleigh Caroline Tigner. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Tigner; her first husband, Jimmy Lee Tigner; her parents, James Leonard and Ruby Mosley Maxwell; a brother, Lonnie Maxwell; and an infant sister. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 22, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Ed Kennedy. Interment will follow in Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ronald Bray, James McGaughy, Jay Glover, Thomas Bray, John Tarman, and Chester Bray. Honorary pallbearers include Eddie Bray and Murphy Lee Tigner. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka.
