Linda Gail Holmes, age 71, of Guntersville, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 8, 2024. Born to James Lang and Nellie Hayes, Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished her family deeply. She was a proud member of Crossroads Assembly of God and a former district manager for Avon, where she inspired others with her dedication and hard work. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Pamela Wills and Ashley Holmes; grandchildren Christopher Ellis, Heather (Lorenzo) Williamson, Brandon Wills, and Camdin Compton; and great-grandchildren Loren, Jayce, Tytan, MaKeena, and Odessa. Linda also leaves behind her sisters Patricia Hayes, Lynn Alexander, and Debbie; brother, Rickey Lang, a host of nieces and nephews, as well as her cherished dog, Coco, who was her loyal companion. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Shirley Mote; and her brothers, Jerry Lang, Danny Hayes, and Freddie Hayes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in the chapel at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with visitation on Tuesday, November 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
