Linda Gail Harris Murphree, 80 of Arab passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at her residence. Linda was born July 28, 1944, in Arab the daughter of Robert Ellis Harris and Mamie Hunkeapillar Harris. She was a graduate of Arab High School Class of 1963 and was a retired nurse, working the majority of her career in Long Term Care.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years: Deon Murphree; sister: Sandra Harris Handley (Jerry); brother: Michael Harris (Genia); granddaughter: Alyssa Murphree; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded by her son: Travis Murphree, parents: Ellis and Mamie Harris, sisters: Brenda Harris Graves and Martha Harris Cothren.
Graveside Service was 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Arab Memorial Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
