Linda Gail Gallahar Linda Gail Gallahar (nee Bain), 75, of Jacksonville, Alabama, passed away surrounded by family on August 30, 2024, from complications following open heart surgery. Linda was born on March 4, 1949, in Anniston, Alabama, to James and Delia Bain. Linda lived her life for God, Alabama Football, and her family and friends. Linda was a long time employee at Walmart and provided a warm presence to all she met there. After 25 years, she officially retired from Walmart in May of 2022. She devoted her free time to baking, gardening, and feeding her many hummingbirds.

She is preceded in death by her parents James Bain and Delia Bain; her loving husband Sammy Gallahar; siblings Steve Bain, Randy Bain, and Janice Biggers (Buddy). She is survived by her son Donnie Bain (Tracey), her son Shaun Owens; siblings Don Williamson, Jerome Bain, Debbie Burchett (Kenny (deceased)), and sister/best friend Barbara Feazell (Terry); nieces and nephews Tammy Bott, Christy Calhoun (Scott), and Barry Feazell (Joanna); grandsons James Bain (Elizabeth), Brady Owens, and Finn Owens.

Linda will always be remembered for her smile, cheerful attitude, kind heart, and her endless love for her friends and family. Linda is now at peace with her maker, beloved parents, and husband. She would not want us to dwell on her passing but instead move forward and keep spreading the love she so selflessly gave us all. In accordance with her wishes, a ceremony will not be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude in her memory. We know she is shining down on us and as she would always say with pride, ROLL TIDE!
