Linda G. Plyler – Obituary

Linda G. Plyler, 78 of Dora, passed away on Wednesday May 8, 2019.
She was a graduate of Dora High School, class of 1959. She was retired from Carraway Methodist Medical Center after 28 years. Linda was known by everyone as the “Can Lady”.
Funeral services will be Monday May 13, 2019 at 11:30 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lewis Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday 5:30-8 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her son Brent Walters: parents, Elzie and Lora Harrison; sisters, Flora Vinston, Billie Rhodes, Claudine Gann and Barbara Roberts and brothers, Joe and Fred Harrison.
Survivors include her daughter, Tamara “Tami” Walters; grandchildren, Hali Baskin (Joseph,Jr) and Blake Walters (Jordyn Fountain); great grandchildren, Zeeland, Wren and Ambrose Baskin and Payton Walters (due in August); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and close friends Joan “J Mc” McNamee, Bridget Adams and Wendy Shelton.
