Linda Frances Byrams, aged 78 of Addison, passed away June 10, 2023, at her residence.
She was born August 17, 1944, in Guntersville, Alabama. She was a great mother, sister, and friend. She was a caregiver to all, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved kids. She was an avid gardener, especially vegetables. She loved to cook; and sing and dance in the kitchen. She enjoyed all types of music.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Rodney Ridgeway will officiate.
Linda is survived by her son, Bill Dean Moore, Jr. and fiancée Stacy Elizabeth Farris; daughters, Susie Black and husband David, Jennifer Parson and husband Mike, Christie B. Spears, and Tonya Higginbotham and husband Joel; stepdaughter, Debbie Walker; sisters, Betty Pearce and husband Roy, Patsy Smith, and Thelma Staggs; brothers, James Earl Buchanan and wife Linda and Donald Buchanan and wife Teresa; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Byrams, Sr.; daughter Sheila Byrams; parents, Robert Lee and Pearl Buchanan; sister, Evelyn Ware; brothers, Robert Lee Buchanan, Jr. and Edward Neal Buchanan; stepson, Paul Byrams, Jr.; stepdaughters, Brenda Reeves, Sherry Dupree, and Donna Priest; grandson, Casey Byrams; and granddaughter, Tina Priest.
