Linda Faye Riley Profile Photo Linda Faye Riley, a lifelong native of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 31, 1955, in Columbia, Tennessee, she was the beloved daughter of the late James Chapman, Sr. and Evelyn Spears Chapman.

Linda’s exceptional talent for crocheting was well-known and greatly admired. Linda took immense pride in passing down this craft to her son, ensuring that her skill and love for crochet would continue through the generations. An avid reader, Linda found joy and solace in the pages of her favorite books. Her compassionate nature extended to the many dogs she adored throughout her life, each one holding a special place in her heart.

Linda’s legacy lives on through her family, who will forever treasure her memory. She is survived by her devoted son, Greg Riley; loving daughter-in-law, Brandy; her beloved grandchildren, Shannah and John Kennedy, Dusty Riley, and Elizabeth Riley and her partner, Russell Thompson. Linda’s great-grandchildren: Cheyenne Kennedy, Beau Kennedy, and Raelynn Thompson, will grow up hearing stories of their great-grandmother’s warmth.

She is also survived by her dear sisters, Marilyn Haskins and her husband, Artie, and Ann Stewart and her husband, Tommy, who will deeply miss their sister’s companionship and love.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 6:00 PM. Linda Faye Riley’s spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

The care of Ms. Linda Faye Riley and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Williams Funeral Home.
