Linda Faye Reynolds, 81, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024.Linda is survived by her sons, Charles Rex Reynolds and David Russell Reynolds; loving sister, Janice Gladney; grandchildren, Christopher and Lindsay and great grandchildren, Jordyn, Jaxon, Charlie and Eleanor.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Russell Reynolds and sisters, Pat Whitson and Susan Bunn.
Linda married her high school sweetheart in August 1961 and spent the next 56 years with Charles. The first four years were spent starting their family and supporting Charles during his time in the Air Force. Linda was an active parent when it came to her sons. Always supportive at baseball, basketball and football games, wrestling meets and all sorts of fundraising activities. She was always there for her sons.
Linda was a collector of all things butterfly. Pictures, yard art, figurines and jewelry. She loved each and every piece she had. Linda also enjoyed good Mexican food along with a good margarita (easy on the salt). She was an avid NASCAR fan and loved college and pro baseball. But nothing could match her love for her beloved Auburn Tigers and college football Saturday. WDE Linda… you will be missed!
