Mrs. Linda Faye Nichols age 72 passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at her home. Linda was born April 27, 1951 in Guin, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. William Jantis and Vernie Lou Estes Atkinson. Linda was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a retiree of Walmart.
Visitation will begin held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Scottsboro from 1-3:00PM on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM in the sanctuary of Emmanuel Baptist Church also on Saturday, June 17, 2023 with Bro. Scott Nichols officiating and burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery following the service.
Survivors include:
Husband, Scott Nichols; Children, James Michael Abbott and Donna Abbott Skelton; Grandchildren, Scott Keeton, Logan Skelton, and Alissa Abbott; Great grandchildren, Elijah and Josphine Rowell; Sisters, Glenette Porter and Brenda Stough.
Mrs. Nichols is preceded in death by: Parents, William Jantis and Vernie Lou Estes Atkinson; Sisters, Sue Barton and Rebecca “Sissy” Todd.
