Linda Fay Oliver, 81, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at The4 Meadows in Fulton. She was born November 10, 1942, in Jackson, MS., to Joe and Rubena Berry Harmon. She and her husband lived in six states and Puerto Rico, before settling in Ballardsville about 18 years ago. She worked as a house keeping supervisor at Rush Hospital in Meridian. She was a born again believer and played the piano and sang in several churches. She enjoyed crocheting.
Services will be at noon on Wednesday, April 17, at the Ballardsville Baptist Church with Bro. Frank Panzrino officiating. Burial will be in the Ballardsville Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, George G. Oliver; one brother, Kenneth Harmon (Pamela) of DeKalb, MS; two nephews, Kendell Harmon (Cindy) of Tupelo, and Kendrick Harmon (Sherry) of Palestine, TX; one niece, Shana Banta (Casey) of Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Kermit Harmon; and her parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Ballardsville Baptist Church.
