Linda Diane Gilley, 70, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, peacefully passed away on December 24, 2023, to be with her Lord and Savior.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A native of Maury County, Tennessee, Linda was born on March 18, 1953, and was the daughter of the late Alvin Brown and the late Barbara Hooper Galbreath. She was a 1973 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Linda’s hobbies included cross stitching and making ceramics, and she was an excellent cook. Her greatest joy was being a devoted mother to her beloved sons, Anthony and Jeremy. Above all, Linda will be remembered by her deep faith and love for Jesus which shone brightly through her long-standing membership at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved sons, Anthony (Rebecca) Gilley of Thompsons Station, Tennessee, Jeremy (Donell) Gilley of Spring Hill, Tennessee, grandchildren, Jack Gilley, Kate Gilley, Kinsley Gilley, Elliott Gilley, brother, Jeff Brown on Columbia, Tennessee, and sisters, Laura Brown of New Smyrna, Florida, and Deborah Brown of Columbia, Tennessee.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and team at Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation, as well as the staff at Fisher Pharmacy and Gifts.
