January 22, 1941 – March 26, 2025
Linda went to meet her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 10:00am at Roselawn Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior, with Bro. Dallas Culver officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, with Roselawn Funeral Home taking care of the arrangements.

Linda was born in Decatur on January 22,1941, to Albert Wilson and Lucille Ellen Walker. Linda went to Austinville elementary and Austinville high school until 1958 when she married Jack Clemons. He was in the Marine Corps and she moved with him when she could and made friends wherever they went. They made some close and special friends in California: Anne and Jim Leos and Iron eyes and Birdie Cody. When Jack retired from the Marines, they moved back to Decatur, and Linda got a job at Lurleen B. Wallace Development Center as a cottage parent. While there, she got a degree in landscaping and started the Native American Landscaping Co. with her husband.

She was a member of Austinville United Methodist Church, joining as a child. She served on the board as Mission Chairperson and Sunday School Superintendent.

She was a Sunday School teacher for children and adults for several years. She was a member of the United Women in Faith and served as District Secretary for three years, and was president, secretary, vice- president and Mission Coordinator in the local unit. She was a former member of Joe Wheeler Chapter 291 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and a former member of the great-granddaughters club, and a former member of the Red Hat Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clemons Sr. and parents and her sisters- Joyce Spain and Ann Dooley.

Survived by children: Thomas L. Clemons, Jr (Brenda), Anthony J. Clemons (Katrina), Angela L. Collins (John), Jon-David Wiley (Elizabeth), Perry Wiley (Keri).

Grandchildren: Timothy J. Wiley (Jessica), Amber Clemons, Timothy Clemons, Nathan Clemons, Audrey Wiley, Landon Wiley, Rowen Wiley, Brendon Wiley and Silvia Wiley.

Great grandchildren: Emma Wiley, Marilee Wiley, and Helena Rose Wiley.
