Linda Crawford  Linda Crawford, aged 79, of Dora, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024. Born on January 9, 1945. A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 2:00pm at Bell Chapel Sumiton. Visitation will take place from 12:00pm to 2:00pm prior to the service. Bro. JJ Creel will be officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview.

Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was married to her devoted husband, James Crawford, for an inspiring 61 years. Linda had a deep love for red roses, gospel music, and spending time at the beach. Her family and church family were the centers of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Linda retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education, where she dedicated her career to nurturing children as a lunchroom lady and providing care as an aid for the special needs bus. Her kindness and compassion touched many lives. Linda’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; James and Mildred Weems, her great granddaughter; Jaylee Warden and her nephew; Scott Collier.

Linda is survived by her husband James L. Crawford, her son; Phillip (Stephanie) Crawford of Warrior, Al, and her daughter; Leigh A. Burrell of Warrior, Al. Her grandchildren; Halee Willingham (Bradley), Katie Willingham (Cameron), Hollie Causey (Jarred), Maddie Gunnels (Chris Burns), Taylor Crawford (Tamera). Her great grandchildren; Colton Willingham, Levi Willingham, Brinnlee Willingham, Weston Willingham, Baylen Willingham, Amelia Willingham, Lucy Causey, and Ivy Gunnels.
