Linda had many precious friends who she considered family living in Lincoln during her 38 years as a resident. Her family and friends knew Linda was a force of nature and you never wondered what she thought about you, you never had to guess if you were a friend. Linda would do anything for her friends and family. Her heart was like the forever flowing waters of this Earth – there was no end to what she would do for someone in need – no matter their walk in life. She was a strong independent woman that thought for herself, did not back down to anyone; she stood up for the weak, fed the stranger and loved the impossible. Linda never quit in life, even when she thought life was unbearable – she wanted to see Levi graduate, and see the man he would become, she loved her grandson Levi and her husband James – she was my biggest fan and bragged on me, her daughter, at every chance. Linda cooked the best food that was filled with love – she shared her food with all.

My momma was like many Saints of old, she was not perfect and had her tribulations she did not believe the Lord dwelled in or was contained in any building or walls, she believed no person knew the mind of God; she firmly believed the Lord dwells within us after baptism in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – We are all a child of God, and like all of us, she too was concerned her sins were to grave and to many to be forgiven: we talked about the TRUTH – the Lord loves us, no matter the sin, if you ask the Lord with a genuine heart to forgive you, He will wipe your slate clean, and welcome you into His open arms. We prayed, “Lord, I am not worthy for you to enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul will be healed.” Matthew 8:8

Linda is home with her mother, siblings and her beloved son, Michael and all of her suffering and worry has ended. Linda, the wife, momma granny and friends will be missed everyday and will never be forgotten. Instead of flowers, we request you make a donation to the Masons at Moody Lodge 592, a 501(3)(c). We are grateful for their friendship and support.
