Linda Baugher Phillips, age 72 of Athens, whose life was taken on Friday, January 6, 2017 was born October 12, 1944 in Athens, Alabama to James Murray and Beulah Phipps Baugher.
Linda is survived by her sons, Barry Delano Phillips and wife Felicia of Athens, Christopher Phillips and wife Amy of Athens; four brothers, Anthony Baugher of Athens, Tommy Baugher and wife Barbara of Athens, John Baugher and wife Cathy of Athens, and Timmy Baugher and wife Mary of Athens; grandchildren, Colby Phillips, Hayden Phillips, Savannah Phillips, Weston Phillips, and Marlee Phillips.
Linda was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Services for Mrs. Phillips will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. George Whitten officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Burial will be in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Phillips will be John Baugher, Barry Phillips, Chris Phillips, Brad Baugher, Colby Phillips, Justin Baugher, Hayden Phillips, Matthew Baugher, and Weston Phillips. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Baugher, Tommy Baugher, and Timmy Baugher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Linda Baugher Phillips Scholarship Fund at Redstone Federal Credit Union in Athens, Alabama.
