Linda Ann Elder Cupples age 56 passed away August 27, 2014 in Honduras.
She was born August 30, 1957 in Louisiana, MO and spent her childhood in MO, the daughter of the late Glenn Charles Elder and Patsy Ann Shepard Elder. She graduated High School in Concordia, MO and attended Union University obtaining a degree in nursing. She worked as a nurse for 30 years. She took care of her mother until her death and had more recently worked part time at Pizza Hut. Her death occurred in Honduras while vacationing.
Linda is survived by a son, James Edward Cupples and wife Lessie of Henderson and a daughter, Brandi Sullivan of Milan; a step daughter, Lisa Cupples of Bolivar; and four grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Fraser of Medon and Debbie Elder of Olathe, KS and three brothers, Lonnie Elder of Jackson, Gary Elder of Jackson and Ricky Elder of Lexington.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Rick Seaton officiating and burial will follow in Henderson City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 6 PM until 8 PM on Wednesday.
