Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Arrest And Charged Two Men With Drug Charges

LIMESTONE COUNTY-On January 4, 2022, a search warrant was executed at a home located in the 21000 block of Hays Mill Rd., by the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, ALEA State Bureau of Investigation, and the Drug Enforcement Administration, as part of a narcotics related operation in the northwest portion of Limestone County. During the execution of the search warrant, firearms, approximately six thousand dollars cash, marijuana, methamphetamine, and cocaine were confiscated.

Rodrigo Arce Maldonado, 37 of Elkmont, AL, has been charged with Drug Trafficking, 3 counts of

Bernabe Mendoza

Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana in the First Degree, and Possession of a Concealed Weapon Without a Permit.  Maldonado is being held in the Limestone County Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.

33, has been charged with Possession of Marijuana in the Second Degree and Possession of a Concealed Weapon Without a Permit.  Mendoza is being held in the Limestone County Detention Center on a $1,500 bond.
