ATHENS-The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect charged with trafficking Meth:
“On August 20, 2024, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, along with the assistance of Athens Police Department – Alabama, conducted a traffic stop on Hine St. The traffic stop led to the recovery of 8.3 ounces of Methamphetamine and a pistol.
Travis Freeman, 48, of Athens, AL, is charged with Drug Trafficking – Methamphetamine. Freeman has been released on a $50,00.00 Bond.”
