Limestone County Deputies Makes Drug Arrest During Traffic Stop

LIMESTONE COUNTY-On June 6, 2024, Deputy Rolan Hipolito and Deputy Stuart Fontenot conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 65 just south of the Elkmont exit.
Upon initial contact with the driver, deputies could smell the odor of Marijuana emitting from the truck. Deputies also learned that the driver had an active warrant through Limestone County. Deputy Hipolito and Deputy Fontenot asked the male driver to step out. The driver refused to exit the car and follow commands from Deputies. Once Deputies were able to get the male driver out of the car, he resisted arrest and was placed in handcuffs.
Upon searching the vehicle, deputies located 352 Grams (12 ounces) of Methamphetamine and 14 ounces of Marijuana.
Stanley Dwayne Billions Jr., 40, of Huntsville, AL, was charged with Drug Trafficking (methamphetamine), Resisting Arrest, Possession of Marijuana 1st, and an Alias Warrant. Billions is still in Limestone County jail with a $106,000.00 Bond.
