Lilly Lavern Holladay, 96, of Indianapolis passed away on March 26, 2016. She was born Aug. 27, 1919 in Danville to Walter Solomon and Katie Gray. She was a member of West Newton Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed singing and writing and acting in plays she wrote. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William O. Holladay; two brothers, six sisters, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Peggy (Joe) Brown, JoAnn (James, deceased), Lane and Margaret (Thomas deceased) Junkins.
Services will be Thursday, March 31, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
