Funeral service for Lillie Tipton, 80, will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chuck Oden officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tipton died on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Warm Springs Specialty Hospital in Texas. She was born December 16, 1933, in North Carolina to Carl Billy Rippy and Mildred Eugenia Hodge Rippy. She formerly worked as a factory worker for the Cotton Mill. She was preceded in death by her husband: Therman B. Tipton, her parents, a daughter: Jeannette Tipton, a brother: Billy Carl Rippy, and a sister: Barbara Head.
