Lillie Mae Hamm, age 92, of Tuscumbia died Monday, May 27, 2013. Visitation will be Thursday, 1-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Barton Cemetery.
Mrs. Hamm was a native of Dalton, GA and a lifelong resident of Colbert County. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Ben E. Hamm, her sons; Charles Hamm, Earl Hamm; daughters, Bonnie Wimbs, Sue Pennington Goins; brother, Cliff “June Bugg” Barnett, and sister; Kate Fisher.
She is survived by her sons; Larry Hamm (Frances) of Muscle Shoals, Lloyd Hamm (Kathy), Marvin Hamm (Pam), Marshall Hamm (Frances) all of Tuscumbia, twenty four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are grandsons, David Hamm, Chris Hamm, Joshua Hamm, Tommy Pennington, Brad Hamm and Jason Hamm.
Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia is directing.
