Lillie Barbara Hambrick, age 87 of Huntland, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Huntland on August 29, 1935 to the late Delbert and Murnie (Stubblefield) Burks. She was a member of Huntland Missionary Baptist Church. Lillie loved spending time with her family and loved to travel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Everett; grandson, Spencer Walls; and brothers, Tom Burks and Leon Burks. Lillie is survived by her loving husband of sixty-nine years, C.E. Hambrick of Huntland; daughter, Gail (Mark) Walls of Huntland; granddaughters, Nikki (Cameron) Lee of Ooltewah, Brittni (Brandon) Sons of Winchester, and Kelsea Walls of Huntland; great-grandchildren, Kelton Sons, Kendyl Sons, Ryland Lee, and Bryce Lee; sister, Jenny Vann; brother, James Burks; and son-in-law, Bill Everett. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Bruce Shockley officiating.
