Lillian White Jones departed from this life, Sunday, January 16, shortly after her 100th birthday.

Lillian was a faithful member of the Booth Chapel Church of Christ until she became unable to attend. Besides being a housewife and mother to five children and working on the farm, she also worked periodically at factories and later was a cook at the Minor Hill Head Start program. She was a Christian wife, and mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, who made friends with everyone she met. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, travel, visiting family and friends, and genealogy. She was especially loved by her family, friends, and health care workers. She will be dearly missed. Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her parents Cecil Flourney White and Effie Davis White, husband, James Aubrey Jones; son James Douglas Jones; daughter Dorothy Nell Jones Bass; sister Mandella White Williams; nephew Andy White, great nephew Drew White, and great grandaughter Jessica Bass. She is survived by one sister Tommie Van Fleet, Gallatin; one brother Leon (Mary Alice) White Lawrenceburg; sons Stanley (Donna) Jones, Cookeville; Donnie Jones, Minor Hill, and a daughter Doris James (Lynn), Knoxville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Pamela Jones, Huntsville; Lyn (Ray) Wilkerson, Knoxville; Mark Jones, Nashville; Anthony (Nicole) Jones Peachtree City, GA; Mike (Kris) Burchett, Augusta, GA; Mitch (Julie) Burchett, Woodstock, GA; Wade (Shannon) Bass, Pulaski; Dana Adams (friend Tony Holt), Pulaski; Joye (Matt) Cozart, Minor Hill; Patrick Clark, Knoxville, Christopher Jones, Cookeville; Andy (Chantel) Jones, Marbleton, GA; Tyler Jones, (friend Nicole Gibbons) Depford, NJ, fifteen great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, and four nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 am until 1p.m with services immediately following at 1pm at Carr and Erwin funeral home with interment in Booth Chapel Church Cemetery. Service will be officiated by Richard Durham and Mark Johnson.

The family request that Mask be worn.
