Lillian Smith, age 95, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at at her residence. She was a native of Lexington, AL, a homemaker, and a member of Park Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Cora Cole Putman; her husband, Edward David Smith; one son, Timothy Ray Smith; two grandsons, Dwight Rochelle and Keith Smith; one son-in-law, Paul Vaughn; one great-great-grandson, Jaxson David Staggs; one sister, Mary Sue Clark; and five brothers, Leroy Putman, Lincoln Putman, Reeder Putman, Fred Putman, and Herbert Putman.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 28, 2016, with David Gallaher and J.D. Bosheers officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
