Lillian Maxey Hughes, 96, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at her residence.
Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 10 until 11 a.m., at Jasper First Baptist Church, with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. Service will follow at 11 a.m., at Jasper First Baptist Church, with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery. Bro. Lloyd Stilley will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Hughes; parents, Troy and Myrtle Maxey; brother, Travis Maxey; in-laws, Otis and Agnes Hughes; and son-in-law, Nick Gonzales.
She is survived by her sons, Wendall Hughes, Raymond Hughes, Timothy Hughes; daughter, Joan H. Gonzales; grandchildren, Casey Gonzales, Carrie Gonzales and Ryan Gonzales; great grandchildren, Johnathan Gonzales, Anna Gonzales, Willie Gonzales, Jacob Gonzales and Noah Gonzales and a host of other relatives and friends.
