Lillian Danley Owens, age 81, of Killen, Ala. passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Florence, Ala.. She was a native of Greenhill, Ala., retired beautician and real estate agent. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Killen, Ala, and the Eastern Star in Greenhill, Ala. Mrs. Owens was the 2011 Queen of Hearts at the Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Frankie Haygood Danley; and her husband, Harvey Owens, Jr.
She is survived by Three Daughters, Sheryl Allen (Hoy), Zip City, Ala., Jill Knight (Walter), Fayette, Ala., and
Patti Raney, Killen, Ala.; One Son, Marvin Owens (Lorraine), Westland, Mich., and one Sister, Esther McKee, Athens, Ala.; 10 Grandchildren
and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tenn. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, with David McKelvey officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Greenhill, Ala.
