Lila Pearl Northcutt, age 91 of Winchester passed away on Tuesday March 3, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Northcutt was born on April 17, 1928 in Cowan to the late James Oliver and Ida Frances Morris Bailey. She worked for Lanier Clothes, Hat Corporation, General Shoe Corporation, and was also a licensed cosmetologist. She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church and served as a Sunday school teacher for 35 years. Mrs. Northcutt enjoyed spending time fishing, camping, sewing, quilting, cooking, fish fry’s at the river, and playing cards and dominoes with her kids and grandkids. She will always be remembered by her family as a caring and hardworking lady that was a wonderful cook, and had a great sense of humor. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman “Bud” Northcutt; sisters, Maggie Gass, Ethel Richards, Elsie Riter, Verdie Bailey; Brothers, Herbert Bailey, Howard Bailey, Reuben Bailey, Arthur Bailey, Edward Bailey, and Jesse Bailey. She is survived by her daughter, Tammie (Rudy) Hayes of Madison, AL; sons, Larry (Rita) Northcutt of Winchester, Wayne (Sherry) Northcutt of Winchester; granddaughters, Traci (Joe) Lang of Meridianville, AL, Leslie (Jason) Lusk of Decherd; grandson, Cary (Nichole) Sullenger of Madison, AL; step-granddaughter, Dee Ann (Mike) Walker of Madison, AL; step-grandsons, Kerry Hayes of Madison, Travis Finney of Winchester, Mark (Dawn) Finney of Belvidere; great-granddaughters, Kylie Sullenger of Madison, AL, Karlee and Laila Lusk of Decherd; great-grandson, Hutson Lang of Meridianville, AL, and several step great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Friday March 6, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Northcutt and Pastor Roger Parks officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens
