Lila Oneal Allgood age 93, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born February 01, 1931 to Neal and Julia Cole. Oneal was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church No. 2 for many years, was also involved in the Ladies Ministry (WMU). She enjoyed cooking, reading her bible and gardening. Oneal especially loved to spend time with her friends and family. Visitation will be Monday, December 30, 2024 at Sardis Baptist Church from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. where a service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brother William McClellan will officiate. Pallbearers will be Coby Smithson, Jacob Smithson, Lelton Smithson, Eli Doss, Will Smithson and Scott Cole. Oneal was survived by her grandsons, Phil Smithson, Joey (Rachael) Smithson and Lee (Julie) Doss; granddaughter, Brandie (Sam) Williams; great grandchildren, Coby Smithson, Jacob Smithson, Lelton Smithson, Laura (Jon) Howard, Leigh Ann Smithson, Will Smithson, Eli Doss, Samantha Waugh and Micheal Waugh; great great grandchildren, Coda Smithson, Slade Howard and Lila Howard. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Neal and Julia Cole; husband, Dwight Allgood; daughters, Deborah Doss and Beverly Denise (Bob) Kullman; brother, Scotty Cole; and great grandson, Christian Chaz Smithson.
