Mrs. Lila (Jean) Wells Washburn, 78, of Woodville, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Bro. John Sneed officiating. Burial will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 12 noon until time of service.
Jean is survived by her son, Darryl (Melody) Washburn; grandchildren, Michelle (Tim) Grey and Ashley (Dallis) Johnson; brothers, Cecil (Maxine) Wells and Mike (Connie) Wells; sister, Jane (Roscoe) Manning; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Vernon Washburn; parents, Gather Sentell Wells and Martha Lee (Smith) Wells and brothers, Billy Jack Wells, Ernest Edd Wells, and George Melvin (Shep) Kennedy.
