Liddy Violet Smith, age 67, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Smith was born on May, 9 1948 in Athens, AL.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Haggermaker and Alma Peeks Haggermaker; two brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by her husband Ronald D. Smith, three sons, Larry Stanley Ivey, Steven Wayne Ivey, and Chris Smith; two daughters, Stephanie Chatman, and Peggy Rogers; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five brothers, and four sisters.
Services for Mrs. Smith will be on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 4:00PM with Mike Moore officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00PM, Friday, April 22, 2016 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Pall-bearers are Justin Rogers, Buddy Lynn, William Bailey, Mark Hagood, Bradley Lynn, and Allen Naylor. Honorary pall-bearers are Robert Bailey and Jeff Chatman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
