Lezelle Cassidy, passed away of natural causes on May 21, 2024 after living 100 full years of life. She retired from Northern Indiana Children’s Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She then returned home to Mississippi to spend time with her elderly mother. Lezelle was a very hard worker and an avid gardener. She attended West Heights Baptist Church where she was baptized and a member.
Services will be at 2:00pm Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Dr. David Hamilton will officiate. Burial will be in the West Heights Baptist Church Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors, two daughters, Peggy Brown (Lance) and Betty Veness; a son, Frank Sanford; 20 grandchildren; and she was also blessed with numerous great, great great and great great great granchildren.
Preceded in death by, her parents, 11 siblings; one son; three daughters; and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 12:00pm until service time Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc.
