Lexie Cook Swinney, 86, Phil Campbell, passed away on Saturday, December 08, 2012 in Gardendale.
She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
The visitation will be 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Bobby Poss. Burial will be at Liberty Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, G.C. Swinney (Kaye), Barbara Campbell (Jimmy), Sammy Swinney (Faye); grandchildren, Amy Wilson (Kevin), Shaun Swinney (Leah), Jennie Hamer (Jason), Kristie Oliver (Jamie); great-grandchildren, Mason, Kathryn, & Samuel Swinney, Ethan & Colton Oliver, Tanner, Laci, & Chloe Hamer; and nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Swinney; parents, E.G. & Bular Cook; and sister, Dessa Stancil.
The pallbearers will be Kevin Wilson, Jason Hamer, Jamie Oliver, Shaun Swinney, Mason Swinney, and Ethan Oliver.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
