Mr. Williams passed away Wednesday, August 11th, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.  He was born February 8, 1950 to Lois Grandberry & Minnie Lee McLeroy Williams.

Loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, friend, Levon Williams had a special relationship with so many.  From softball coach to Santa Claus, Levon held a special place in his heart for kids and young people. His quarter trick was everybody’s favorite.  Levon never met a stranger and could hold a conversation like he’d known them his entire life. He loved his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews so much and told others how proud he was of all of them.  He loved to visit Misty in Georgia and especially loved that she finally got some chickens (and 2 goats!)  He loved being outdoors, visiting family, watching his westerns, and above all, loved being married to his wife Bonnie. He told her daily, “I adore you.” Levon made a lasting impression on so many people and will be dearly missed.

Psalm 30: 1-5  I will extol thee O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.  O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.  O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave; thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.  Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.  For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life:  weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

2 Corinthians 4: 17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Buck Williams, Ray Williams, Lenzell ‘Sonny’ Williams; sisters, Mae Dean, Vonzell Clark; daughter, Carol Williams; infant son, Terry Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Bonnie Sue Williams; sons, Gary (JeAnn) Williams, Kevin (Tina) Williams; daughter, Misty Jo (John) Ward; grandchildren, Tonya Heath (Will Huntington), Annamarie (Philip) Soltero, Joelene (Nic) Contreras, Geoffrey Williams; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Heath, Sean Heath, Sky Heath, Tallulah Contreras; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
