Funeral Services for Baby Levi Ryan Riley of Goodwater will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Baby Levi passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga. Although his life was short, he leaves behind a large, loving, and caring family who loved him very much.
He is survived by his parents: Matthew and Kelly Riley; his sisters, Emily and Elena; His grandparents: Missy Riley of Lineville and Terry and Rita Hallman of Goodwater; his great-grandparents: James Miles and Thelma Hoyt, both of Lineville; his Aunts and Uncles: Ed Brown, Rick Riley, both of Lineville, Corey and Audrey Hallman, Colton and Rita Casey, all of Goodwater, Dustin and Kristin Monroe of Millerville, Cindy Riley of Lineville, and Willie Livingston of Ashland, Ray Hallman and Paul and Faye Meeks; plus a host of other Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles, Cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Riley Sr; and Maternal great-grandparents: Harvey and Mary Elizabeth Venn and Vince and Mary Bell Hallman.
Matthew Riley and Rick Riley will serve as pallbearers.
Corey Hallman, Terry Hallman, Joey Smith, Dustin Monroe, and Ed Brown will serve as honorary pallbearers.
His visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. He will lie in state on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 for one hour at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church from 2:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM.
