Mr. Leverne Hamilton, 66, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away December 10, 2018 at Russellville Hospital. A native of Russellville, he was a member of First Baptist Church College Avenue, Russellville, and had worked at H.D. Lee and ALACO before becoming disabled. He was also a veteran having served in the U.S. Army.
Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11a.m. until 1 noon at College Avenue First Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at noon. Officiating will be Reverend B.J. Bonner. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Russellville.
Surviving Mr. Hamilton is his daughter, Shauvonne Washington; siblings, Richard Dotson, Hazel Hill, Teresa Hill, Sharon Hill, Larry Hill, Martin Hill, and Beverly Little; two grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert Reed and Marvin and Hazel Hill; and brothers, Patrick Hill and Gregory Hill.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
