Anne Woodward Profile Photo Letitia Anne Woodward, known fondly as Anne, passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2025. She was born on November 15, 1937, in Franklin, Tennessee, to the late Guy and Susie Lee Craddock.

Anne dedicated her life to caring for others, earning her nursing degree from Vanderbilt University and serving as a nurse for many years. Even after retiring, her passion for helping others continued through her volunteer work at Williamson Medical Center, where she was a beloved presence in the gift shop and the founder of the Tree of Life Foundation. Her dedication led to an incredible achievement of over 10,000 volunteer hours.

Known for her warm smile and quick wit, Anne had a wonderful sense of humor that brightened the lives of everyone around her. She found joy in travel, especially trips to the beach and the mountains, and cherished the beauty of fall and the changing leaves.

Anne is survived by her devoted husband of many years, Woody Woodward; her loving children, Susie Woodward, Karen Woodward, and Chris Woodward; her cherished grandchildren, Taylor Shivers, Talia Shivers (Michael Ventrone); and her adored great-grandchildren, Natalie Ventrone and Axel Shivers. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Dale Shivers.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved grandsons, Tucker Shivers and Ryan Smith.

Anne’s legacy of kindness, laughter, and service will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
