Leta Maxine Overcast, aged 83, of Madison, passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 16th, 2025. She was born on April 14th, 1941, in Bunceton, Missouri, to parents Arthur and Lola Scott Ernst.
Ms. Overcast is survived by her daughter Jamie Robinson (Scott); son Roger Overcast (Jeannie); grandchildren Shannon Carothers (Will), Justin Klinkenberg (Carolyn), and Roger Overcast; great-grandchildren Asher Carothers, Grey Carothers, and Abigail Overcast; siblings Arthur Ernst (Jane), Phyllis Williams (Paul), Hazel Brown, Donna Gibson, and Margaret Frieling; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Armon Ernst, Richard Ernst, Helen Dorothy Holliday, and Mary Lois Hundley.
A celebration of Maxine’s life is planned to take place at a later date.
