Lester T. “Tom” Dilworth, 90, of New Hope, passed away Sunday.
He was preceded in death by wife, Julia M. Dilworth; parents, Bun and Grace Dilworth; sisters, Thelma Williams, Maggie Lipscomb and Nell Dilworth; brothers, Herman Dilworth and Ted Dilworth; and several nieces and nephews.
Surviving are daughter, Sherrie (Bobby) Davis; son, Larry (Remona) Dilworth, Sr.; grandchildren, Chris (Natalie) Davis, Kelly (Chris) Key, Tina (Greg) Graham, and Larry (Alexandria) Dilworth Jr.; great grandchildren, Claudia (Dalton) Anders, Charlee Rece Bearden, Brody Dilworth, Noah Bearden, Bryson Graham, Abby Graham, and Alyson (Tyler) Dowdy; great-great grandchild, Presleigh Anders; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dewayne Martin and Bro. Mike Shaneyfelt officiating. Pallbearers will be Harold Dilworth, Dalton Dilworth, Anthony Dilworth, William Shelby Dilworth, Ronald Martin, and Lloyd Taymon.
