Lester Lane
(October 18, 1946 – May 20, 2016)
Lester was the oldest boy of ten siblings. He learned responsibilities like driving and changing tires at an early age. His greatest love has always been cars which is why he became a master mechanic though he was inventive and generous. He served in the Army National Guard. As his brother Neal said, “Lester was the person that when you call to tell him you’re broken down on the side of the road he would only ask where and what tools he might need; though he had any tool he needed in his truck and if he didn’t he could make it. If you asked Lester for two dollars and he only had one, he’d go find that other dollar.”
He’s survived by his seven children: Chris (Jennifer) Tineo, Rhonda (Tim) Pearl, Corey (M.J.) Lane, Kimberly Kolle, Niki Lane, Mandy (Justin) Hinshaw, Allen (Stacey) Kolle; eighteen grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; eight siblings: Libby Sanders, Gini Brown, Paul (Thoy) Lane, David (Grace) Lane, Fred (Tammy) Lane, Steve (Trish) Lane, Neal (Donna) Lane, Arne (Susan) Lane.
Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 5:00 service. Lester T was a true gentleman. He was one of the good ones.
