Lester L. Dake, 59 of Arab passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at his residence. Lester was born April 24, 1964, in New Hope, the son of Lester Dake, Sr. and Birdie Faye Dake. He was married to Teresa Stephens Dake for 27 years at the time of her passing March 5, 2022. He was retired from working for the City of Arab.
He is survived by his children: Angela Bearden (Brandon), Sarah Ours (James Louria) and Jason McCune; grandchildren: Katelin Bearden, Brent Clements, Trent Clements, Roy Elkin, Clara Reynolds (Dalton) and Nathan McCune; great grandchildren: Kirra Elkin, Elliott Reynolds and Amarra Reynolds; host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his wife: Teresa Dake, parents: Birdie Faye Dake and Lester Dake, Sr., grandchildren: Kevin Clements and Lillie Clements, stepmom: Louise Osborn.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2023, at Gober Funeral Chapel. The burial will be in Rice Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
