Leslie L. Smith Jr., 89, of Muscle Shoals, passed away May 29, 2013.
Visitation will be Friday, May 31, from 1-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.
Brother David Allison and Brother Brian McIntyre will be officiating.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Robert Howell.
Survivors include his wife of 65 wonderful years, Maudine Smith;
son, Stephen L. Smith (Loudee);
daughter, Vicki Smith Howell;
grandchildren, Andrew Howell (Melissa), Jake Smith, Les Howell (Ashley), Forrest Smith, Nick Howell and Jeb Smith;
great-grandchildren, Payton, Layne, Brice and Bella Howell.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Smith was a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church and a member of the V.F.W. and Lions’ Club.
