Leroy Fulcher – Obituary

Leroy Fulcher, 79, of Latham, Tenn. died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at the Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center in Dresden, Tenn. Memorial services will be Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may call Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m.

Mr. Fulcher was born in Lake County, Tenn. to the late Toy Lee and Iva B. Jones Fulcher. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a Presbyterian by faith, and a retired car salesman and mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Josie Rebecca Haslip.

Mr. Fulcher is survived by his wife, Rita Goodrum Fulcher of Latham, Tenn.; a son Jack (Judy) Smith of Latham, Tenn.; daughters, Karen (Kenneth) Downs of Florence, Ala., Cindy (George) Tipton of Gurley, Ala., LaRanda Corum of Rogersville, Ala., and Patricia (Roger) Hastedt of Davison, Mich.; a step son, Troy (Denise) Cline of Jefferson, Ga.; a step daughter, Caren (Karl) Johnson of Eads, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers are the grandchildren; Blaine Downs, Hunter Downs, Kyle Johnson, Cody Johnson, Kelsey Johnson, Cpl. Kyle Smith, Cpl. Cody Corum, and Michael Baldwin.
