Leroy Bonds, age 89, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his residence. He was a long haul truck driver, a WWII veteran, a Purple Heart recipient, and a 32nd degree Mason. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 27, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Pastor Bob Barnett. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Pallbearers include Michael Reffitt, Michael Reffitt, Jr, Robert Killingsworth, Jordan Carter, Joseph Orr, Tracy Bobo, and Woody Rider. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his daughters – Linda Killingsworth of Corinth, MS, Susan Edmonds of Mojave, CA, Sandra Hanson of Apple Valley, CA, and Sherry Parker of Corinth, his sole surviving sibling – Charles Bonds of Ashland, OR, his grandchildren – Crissy Fruge, Robert Killingsworth, Cindi Reffitt, Stacee Garrett, Taylor Edmonds, Cole Hanson, Justin Hanson, Jodi Carter, Toni Mitchell, Joseph Orr, and Kelly Bobo, his great grandchildren – Seth, Kade, and Livee Garrett, Tyler and Rachel Fruge, Richard, Heather, and Travis Killingsworth, Christopher Fine, Michael and Kaitlyn Reffitt, Jordan and Jillian Carter, Carson, Tyler, and Cody Mitchell, Keaton Orr, and Oakly Bobo, his great, great grandchildren – Tyler, Jr. and Karlee Fruge and Katarina Killingsworth and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.O. and Ester Bonds, his grandparents, Joseph and Martha Bonds, his brothers, Orian Bonds and Dale Bonds, and his sisters, Irene Oswalt, Gee Woodruff, Reba Day, Leo O’Brian and Lonette Allen.
