Mr. Leonard Ray Summerhill, 51, of Florence, died Friday, July 19, 2013.
Public viewing will be Friday, July 26, from 1-7 p.m. Family hour will be from 6-7 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, July 27, at 1 p.m. at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Pastor James Moore is officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Church Cemetery.
He served in the U.S. Army Operation Desert Storm, Saudi Arabia and Army Reserves.
He is survived by his mother, Helen R. Summerhill; brothers, Anthony and Jerry Summerhill Jr.; sisters, Vivian Long, Bidget Summerhill and Brenda Barnett.
