Funeral service for Leonard McCormick age 57 of Decatur will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 11:00am at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hal Daigre officiating with burial in the Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery in Cullman County with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. McCormick, who was born March 30, 1957 in Moulton, Alabama, died on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Parkway Medical Center. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by a son; Shane McCormick (Christyn) of Hartselle, his mother; Lottie McCormick of Decatur, a sister; Charlotte Mauldin (Charles) of Decatur, a niece; Elizabeth Saint and her fiancée; Tyler Glaze, great niece; Amelia Saint, great nephew; Lucas Glaze and three step-grandchildren; Emma Selby, Bella Selby and Aidan Selby.
Ottis Couch, Ray Simmons, Mitchell Simmons, Bobby Simmons, Craig Legg and Wayne Simmons will serve as pallbearers.
